How Much Do Faux Wood Shutters Cost?
The cost of faux wood shutters depends on the size of your windows and your exact requirements. At Galaxy 4 Blinds, our made-to-measure service offers a simple and cost-effective way to enjoy the look of premium shutters without unnecessary extra costs.
Because our shutters are designed for straightforward installation, you can avoid expensive fitting fees. They are also manufactured in Europe, which helps keep delivery times shorter and transport costs lower.
What Are Faux Wood Shutters?
Faux wood shutters, sometimes known as shutter blinds or plantation shutters, feature a solid frame with panels that open and close like doors. Each panel contains 63mm slats that can be tilted to let in as much or as little light as you want.
They offer the same precise light control you would expect from a wooden Venetian blind, but without cords or complicated controls. Our faux wood shutters are made from an advanced polymer, giving them a durable and fully waterproof finish.
Benefits of Faux Wood Shutters
- Easy to clean, with tough, wipeable slats that can be quickly refreshed with a cloth.
- Child and pet friendly, thanks to a discreet control bar that replaces traditional blind cords.
- Waterproof and hard-wearing, making them ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and other busy spaces.
- Available in no-drill options for even easier installation, fitting neatly to uPVC windows with minimal hassle.
- Stylish and practical, offering excellent privacy and light control in any room.
How to Measure for Shutter Blinds
For a front-of-recess fitting, measure the full width of the recess at the top, middle, and bottom, then use the smallest measurement.
For an inside-recess fitting, first measure far enough forward to clear any window handles. Then measure the width at the top, middle, and bottom of the recess, again using the smallest measurement.
If needed, it’s also a good idea to measure the drop in several places to make sure your shutters will fit neatly within the opening.
